SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with PASTOR WAYNE COCKRELL
SCRIPTURE: ”do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,” Ephesians 1:16-18
PRAYER: Father, once again as we come before You opening your Word and desiring that the entrance of it will once again give us light. We pray that the Holy Spirit would grant us revelation to illuminate to us those things that You have said that we might know what You mean and then how we can apply these things to our lives. We ask Your favor upon me again as a preacher that you may use me to speak in accordance to the Word that You have written so that the hearing of the WORD your people would receive it gladly and be moved in their hearts and have added to all of us those things that bring You the highest pleasure and we’ll give YOU praise and thanks for it Lord God. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen and amen!
