A Prayer: God is Waiting in the New Year
SCRIPTURE:
Isaiah 30:18-22
Isaiah 30:18-22

Eternal Father and our gracious God, we again thank You for the Word You have given unto us. You expose us to us. You have made us to examine ourselves in the manner that we should. That each one of us, as we go into a new year, would certainly think how it is going to be better, better than our last year. We’ve heard testimonies Lord, about how people have gone through some tough things, but Lord, You have told us to make sure that we are trusting You. That no matter what, no one else can do for us what You can.
We thank God for doctors and nurses! We thank God for health professionals! We thank God for medicines! We thank You for all of that, but beyond all of that, it is You. It is Your power and by Your spirit that we are healed. It is by Your Spirit that we are rebuilt and renewed. It is by Your Spirit that we are bought to a place of spirituality that is pleasing and acceptable in Your sight. As You look at all of us, You see our hearts, You know where we need to be fixed. You know where we need to be dealt with, You know where we need to be broken. We want to be ready to walk with You in the new year, in fellowship, as one of Your sons and daughters walking together with our Spiritual Daddy and living in the grace and mercy that You so willingly desire to be a part of our lives. Thank You, Lord Jesus. It is in Your name I pray, amen and amen.

Thank You Lord for the growing lessons on "waiting"!!
Amen!! Thank you, Lord for Your power and grace and provision.
Thank you for this prayer, Pastor. Yes, Trusting Jesus no matter what I'm going through. Oh, how a little turbulence can shake the foundation of our walk and cause us to doubt May we dig our heels even further in the Author and Finisher of our faith!
