A Prayer For Endurance

SCRIPTURE:
2 Timothy 2:3-5, 11-13
Father, we thank You today, for the great privilege You have bestowed upon us as a people around the throne of grace to call on Your name. We rejoice today, because You are the God of our salvation. We are witnesses that You are faithful to Your Word. We have a testimony today that we can bring forth praises to You, because every situation, every circumstance over the years we have lived You have been faithful, even when we have been faithless. When we have faltered and fallen and sinned and turned away, You remain steadfast and we thank You for that. So today, we come as a people. You see every heart here; nothing is hidden from You. You see every issue; nothing is hidden from You. Today, we cast all our care upon You, knowing that You care for us.    We want Your hand to be upon us. We want, Lord God, for You to lift us up.  Many are struggling with discouragement, depression, Lord God every day is a battle, but every day we cling to the promise of victory. You have given unto us an assurance, Lord, that no matter what befalls us, You are with us every step of the way. Every battle that we face is Yours.   We have seen You conquer enemies; we’ve seen You make enemies fall before us, we’ve seen you lift us up before enemies. You have given us the opportunity and ability to respond to love our enemies! It’s because of You! It is because of Your hand in our lives that we have seen a new way of living. You have caused us Lord God to be a people called by Your name. It is true that when we humble ourselves and pray and seek Your face, and turn from our wicked ways, You hear us. The very things that block us, the very things that hinder us from experiencing blessing, You remove them.    You open the flood gates of Your grace in many ways and everyone reading this in the quiet of their hearts, have a praise, a praise of what You have done.  We heard in the testimonies, the things You have done.  Even when You have allowed things to come into people’s lives, You have sustained and You have taught us, You have grown us, You have stretched us, You have made us more like Your Son the Lord Jesus, which to the natural eye cannot be seen, but the spiritual handiwork of You moving mightily in the inner sanctum of the human heart, You have caused us to become more and more like Your Son the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You, Jesus! Thank You, Jesus! Amen and Amen!
