How Does God Love?
SCRIPTURE: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against
us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32
us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32

One Sunday, I believe, last year, Pastor taught on the above verses and basically brought out how God, not only poured out His love on us with every Righteous and Holy benefit of His Son’s sacrifice on the cross for our sins, but also and in addition to our gift, the Christ, He freely gave us all things to sustain us on this side of eternity. God’s Word is the very voice of Truth; and in it, we can find all we need to practice and exercise our faith.
I believe when we search the scriptures and take note of what God has done and continues to do for us, we walk away in absolute wonder. In His Word, we are given accounts and testimonies of those who have become clouds of witnesses. We encounter how God demonstrated and continues to demonstrate His love by satisfying our greatest need-Salvation from sin! Despite our transgressions, God “intentionally and with great committed pursuit” offers redemption in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
How does God love? He loves intentionally and eternally! He knew that we would break His heart, but He still gave us each this free will. He, in His Holy and Righteous Sovereignty,
continues to pour His grace and mercy on us. He is for us and promises He will never leave
us; therefore, we have everything we need in Him. For He is not willing that any should perish as He desires that all would see His Son, Jesus, high and lifted up. He is Lord and the only Savior of this world.
PRAYER: Lord, again, we thank You so much for the GREAT and Magnificent LOVE You have showered upon us. We thank You for Your Holy Word. Your beloved says, HALLELUJAH! We praise You for Your commitment to always be our Emmanuel! In Jesus’ Name-Amen!
