Praise to God in His Holiness and Majesty

SCRIPTURE:  A Psalm of David.
29 Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength.
2 Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
3 The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.
4 The voice of the Lord is powerful; The voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars, Yes, the Lord splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes them also skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire.
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; The Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth, And strips the forests bare; And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sat enthroned at the Flood, And the Lord sits as King forever.
11 The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.
The Lord’s goodness, love, and power are unmatched,
He can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask.

Casually, I give honor and praise to people, places, and things by the day,
Yet, the Lord hasn’t been acknowledged enough for His worthy and impeccable resume.

This caused me to examine the qualifying worthiness of praise,
So, I question who and what I honor more than Christ for their ways.

To start, who loves me despite me, willingly?
Who wakes me up and keeps me, faithfully?

Who spares me from what I deserve, yet shows mercy on me?
Who is patient and long-suffering, while purposely restoring me?

Who refuses to condemn me, while forgiven sins are erased?
Who uses my bad for His good by exhibiting grace upon grace?

Despite my failures, who offers forgiveness and repentance?
Who is so committed to me that He sticks to what is written?

Who protects me from evil and the evil one?
Who loves me so much that He gave His only begotten Son?

Who made available a group of believers to fellowship with in ministry?
Who intentionally built Genesis Bible Fellowship Church for biblical stability?

As you allow the Holy Spirit to answer these questions by name,
Psalm 29, tells us to give the Lord His glory and due praise.

Bringing glory to His name is where our praise begins and ends,
It matters to the Lord, so He commands us to rejoice and worship Him.

PRAYER: Lord! You are worthy of praise! Thank you for yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I am speechless of Your goodness. I marvel over Your loving ways. In the matchless name of Jesus Amen
