Prayer of Thanks for God’s Keeping Power
SCRIPTURE:
Psalm 37:23,24
Psalm 37:23,24

Eternal God and our Heavenly Father, as I am impressed in my heart about You today, I am mindful of the personal testimony You have given me of Your willingness and faithfulness to involve Yourself in the affairs of my life. It is not I who have made this relationship with You intimate and personal, but it has been Your internal and intense love demonstrated beyond anything I could have achieved on my own. Your love and tender care have repeatedly and continually met me in the darkest places of despair and loneliness. It melts my heart when I consider that You chose within Yourself to bestow love on me and all of us who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the faithfulness of Your love to us that gives us the confidence to come to You for anything that pertains to life and godliness, because it gives us a certainty that You will remain committed to us even when we stumble and fail in the various trials and temptations we face in life. Your hand of protection not only covers over our lives to keep us protected, but we have also discovered in Your unfailing Word, and in our experiences of falling down, that Your hand undergirds us, so that when we do stumble, we will never fall beyond Your ability to restore us and reestablish our steps of life before You, the true and living God.
Oh Lord our God, it for this reason You are worthy of all of our devotion, dedication and any duty that You determine for us that pleases You. You have given us so much even down to the details of our hearts. What else can we offer to You, except what You ask from us, and that being the offering of our total selves as a living sacrifice unto our God.
Thanks be unto you for never giving up on the least of us, in the name of Jesus, amen and amen.
