Heart to Heart with God

 The heart is that place known only by God. It is the “real me” – my feelings, my conscience, my will, my intellect, and the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit of a believer. Jeremiah 17:10 says “I, the Lord search the heart; I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.” You see, I can’t hide the real me, so I learn to say what God says in I John 1:8 “If we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”  Yes Lord, right now I call my heart sin what You call it. I confess my bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, anger, and doubt Lord (I John 1:9) and accept your forgiveness because You are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me – right now.

This new walk in Christ is dependent upon me yielding and being obedient to the Word of God. My obedience allows the Holy Spirit to transform and conform me into the image of Christ. Oh, the work that He accomplishes in me to do through me at times amazes even me! YES, BREAK MY HEART LORD FOR WHAT IS BREAKING YOURS!!

PRAYER: My Jehovah Roi– the God Who Sees, thank you, thank you for beginning the work in me and promising to complete it until You take me home or come in the Rapture.
