An Unshakable Love
SCRIPTURES:
“'For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,’ Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” Isaiah 54:10
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:31-39

Once upon a time, I only knew the love that failed,
Relationships with painful and disappointing details.
I search for a love that’s unfailing and covers all,
A love that’s immovable and won’t easily fall apart.
Who can love me despite me, unconditionally?
Who can forgive my iniquities without condemning me?
Who thinks I’m beautiful, even when I’m ugly?
Even when I fail, still He’s willing to love me.
Who is willing to sacrifice and claim me?
Who is willing to die for me and save me?
This love can’t be shaken, this love won’t forsake me,
Once I choose this love, His faithfulness can’t escape me.
The Lord’s covenant of peace cannot be removed,
His love and compassion are unfailing and proven.
I never knew I would know a love like this,
An unshakable love that I will spend eternity with.
PRAYER: Lord! I am blown away by how You love me even when I have been so disappointing and unlovable. Yet, the love You display is unshakable, immovable, inseparable, and everlasting. Glory be to God! In the matchless name of Jesus.

Amen. God's love is immense enough to be foundational and overarching all, yet small enough to meet our tiniest cares.
nBless the LORD O' my soul!
Amen and Amen! God’s love is gracious because it is unmerited favorably, and freely given!
