LOVE LOVE
SCRIPTURE: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17

I absolutely love love. Therefore, I tremendously enjoy weddings, and I absolutely get excited about a love story. Usually, at the end of both a wedding and a love story, I am emotionally brought to tears. Watching the couple’s choices towards and for one another highlights the intense connection and prove their love for one another. Their words and or expressions are not seemingly forced. No, some would even say they lack the ability to act any other way.
Saints of God, our love for Christ should look so similar. We ought to look, love, and live so much better than the world. We proclaim with our loving obedience to the Word that we are the Bride of Christ! There should be no one around or near us that would escape the knowledge of who we are in Christ. Our love for Jesus should be genuine that our motivation to deepen our faith and honor towards Him would come intrinsically.
Oh, that we would run to our Word every chance we get; continually pray throughout the day; or always acknowledge Our Lord’s presence (Emmanuel). Oh, that our love would be so pronounced as God’s love is for us. For it is absolutely awesome to know we were the object of God’s love when we were at our worst. We were His enemies when He decided to shower us with His unfailing love, yes, His Son’s sacrifice on the cross for our sins (Romans 5:8). Saints, we have been accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6)! Hallelujah! Oh, the impact we stand to make in the lives of so many, if we were to stand above this flesh and love others as Christ has shown us how to love.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You so much for Your sacrificial love toward us. There is no greater love than the love we know in You. Lord, please help us to embrace Your ways. Help us to be the lovers, the light, even the salt You have already made us. For we are positionally complete in and because of You. In Jesus’ Name-Amen!
