A Day Without Laughter Is a Day Wasted
SCRIPTURE: “Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them.’ 3 The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad.” Psalm 126:2-3

Lord!
You have orchestrated a time for joy and laughter,
Great things have been restored from here on after.
No more complaining, hopelessness, depression, or doubt,
For the great things You’ve done, smiles spring from our mouths.
This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it,
Our suffering appeared to be the end, but you were there from the beginning.
All I can do is laugh, the moments I doubted when matters were concerning,
Knowing that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
We’ve allowed circumstances to steal our joy when faith was tested,
A tear today is an investment, when a laugh tomorrow is expected.
Let us rejoice with singing, let us cast our cares,
A joyful heart knows that laughter is poison to fear.
So as God’s promises and truth are cheerfully anticipated,
We must remind ourselves that a day without laughter is a day wasted.
Therefore, let’s testify that we have not seen anyone dying of laughter,
However, many are dying from sorrow of the heart, so let’s remain prayerful.
PRAYER: A merry heart does good, like medicine. The hope You provide for us comforts our souls. Thank You, Lord! In the matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
