Where is Your Faith?

SCRIPTURE: “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— 2 the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 4 And these things we write to you that your joy may be full.” I John 1:1-4
One of my favorite songs is “The Blood Will Never Lose its Power”. It stresses the Person and Work of our Lord Jesus the Christ; and how the experience of being in Him can take you from day to day. Attempting to do life without Christ can be unsettling, to say the least. Faith in any other brings shame, disappointment, and ultimately eternal damnation.
It is only in Christ that we can experience a life of true joy, peace, and comforting
forgiveness. I do not know about anyone else, but without the assurance of Christ’s death,
resurrection, and advocacy (intercession) for me at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25), I would see no need to continue to exist. May our faith declaration in the total work of Christ brings us leaping motivation and celebratory HOPE! Hallelujah!

The many roles we play in this life, which may be spouse, parent, servant in ministry, co-
worker, etc., call for us to be energetically present and make a difference. We, who say we are in Christ are to stay focused on His Word, His love, His forgiveness, and promote only the agenda of Christ. Let those around us know in whom we believe and why. For Christ is our eternal King; He is our only wise God, and we are to serve Him forever and ever- Amen! (I Timothy 1:17)

PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for our personal gift of faith in You. We pray that You be glorified in how we walk, talk, and have our being before others in this world. Lord, help us to forever trust You, Your Word, with all of our heart, soul, and mind. In Jesus’ Name-Amen!
