SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell Copy

SCRIPTURE: “When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7 All sheep and oxen—even the beasts of the field, 8 The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the paths of the seas. 9 O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!” Psalm 8:3-9
Our eternal Father and our gracious God it is before Your holy presence, once again, this morning we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Your great Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our hearts bow in adoration and praise as we consider who You are, consider all that You have been to us and all that You have done for us. We bow before You Lord because we know there is none other greater and that all of our help and all of our hope rests completely in You. As we open Your Word this morning again, we want to have enlightenment. The entrance of Your Word gives unto us the wherewithal, spiritual understanding in the matters that we face in life. We realize Father that it is what You say, not what we think but what You say that matters to dictate the path of our lives. So now, Father, we ask that You once again would have favor upon this preacher to use me, Lord, to speak in accordance to Your Oracles and when it’s all said and done, we will give You all praise and all honor and all glory for we ask it in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.
