SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. 24 Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.” 1 Samuel 12:23-24
Our eternal Father in Heaven, we gather ourselves together as a people called by Your name and we purpose to humble ourselves before Your holy presence. We desire now, Lord God, with great anticipation that You would speak to us as Your people. We pray, Lord God, that as You see our hearts and see our lives that You might indeed speak the Word to each one of us that causes us to carve off, to deal with, to be encouraged, to accomplish every purpose that You desire done in our hearts so that we might leave this place having heard You and having believed in our hearts that You have made us a little better, a little more focused, a little stronger as we deal with the various issues of our lives. We ask Your favor upon this preacher once again, that You might use me to speak in accordance to Your Oracles so that, Lord God, there will be nothing that will hinder these people from receiving and understanding Your truth. Have Your way in our hearts. Bless that unbeliever that’s in our midst today with salvation as only You can do and we’ll give You praise, Lord God, and give You thanks in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen.
