REVIVAL : Lord, Bring REVIVAL and Let it Begin With Me.

45 Days of Praying for the Elections - DAY 41
SCRIPTURE: "For I know the thoughts I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13
Knowing how very close his people were to receiving the Lord, because of the Lord's nearness, Jeremiah, known as the weeping prophet, lamented over their contrary choosing and its consequences. Through him, we could see, in small measure, the heartbreak and the tears of God. That's right! Our God 'feels' us. Indeed, 'Jesus wept.' This same sorrow we might expect from every prophet, as each would be aligned with the sympathies and reasonings God permitted each to know.

We might presume the same sorrow and tears of God now, as the perfect regard of the Lord appreciates our severe national drifting of law and affection despite the evidence for grace and mercy in our lives, and in our history. Shall we, like Jeremiah, view our 'Jerusalem' with heartache, as our spirit aligns with His? Will we reach, and weep leaving our prayer closet? Will we reach out, weeping for our families and neighbors seeing the elections near and sensing that trouble throughout them and beyond them would not be surprising. Do we have a burden upon us for the uncertainties of the near future?

Let us seek Him with our whole heart, and let God be God. He has thoughts for us, and it is 'peace' which is synonymous with our wholeness, and our completeness, in Christ. Every 'one' matters to God, and that includes each of us. That is why Jesus came. We are why Jesus came. Embrace 'revival', and honor Him with your vote, by voting on the issues in the godliest way permissible. Every 'one' matters.  "... I will listen to you..."  (Jeremiah 29:12-13)

PRAYER: Heavenly, eternal Father, it is in the name of Your Son that I thank You for such care and regard as to embrace and value each and every soul individually, even me, and with that same personal attention, set us all out with a personalized ministry to fit with the many aligned with You by faith. Thank You for this 'family'. It is amazing to consider even in part, the height and width, and length and breadth of Your giving - so much outreach, to come through the cross at Calvary, such amazing grace. Dear God, help us to rise to the occasion upon us, to yield to You, and choose righteousness. As we choose, Heavenly Spirit, lead us to love. Let each intentional step reflect Your splendor, being submitted to the gospel for any and all to see. May we be Your living letter that says 'Love never fails.' Let there be such revival and let it begin with me. May the love of God in me encourage and build. May the love of God in me agitate and redirect. This is my hope and plea. And now, I speak 'Jesus' over my local and national community. I pray for my faith family, my 'skin' folk, and my kin folk. I plead 'Jesus' over everyone and all. In His name I pray. Bless you God! Thank You Lord! Amen.
