SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. 31 For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?” Psalm 18:30-31

Father in heaven, we thank You once again for the privilege to enter into another chapter of this book You have given unto us as Your Word. We yield once again to the Holy Spirit in the presence of this Word desiring that He would give unto us enlightenment that we may know the Holy Scriptures as You intend. That we may be filled with the Word and that the Word might do great and mighty things in us as we have known over the years it has accomplished. We ask Your favor once again as a preacher that You might use me as Your servant to speak in accordance to Your Wod and Lord God my Father, we’ll be careful to give You all the praise and all the honor and all of the glory, we ask this in Jesus’ name, amen.

Salvation abides in Your patience, Lord, preceding the cross, while enduring the cross, and with and beyond Your resurrection, even now, and into that great 'yet'... for the sake of our utter peace. Thank You Jesus! Bless You Lord! Quicken us within this unique season to stand as light [as darkness makes its boast], and salt [in the midst of a rebellious world, locally and globally] Let our hope, and every hope, yearn for the righteousness You have sown, and lean with the love You have shared-all to the glory of God.
