SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

Father, we thank You so very much for the great gift of Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  Our hearts melt before You, realizing that You are the one true God with whom all men and women have to do. We’re thankful for the precious blood of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who has taken our full weight so that we might be able to have assurance, even as we stand here today, knowing that our sins are forgiven, knowing that we are Your children by birth and by adoption and we are secure forever, and we praise You for that. As we open Your Word now, we ask once again for Your blessing and spiritual enlightenment, that we who are gathered here might see clearly what Your mind is as it relates to these things You desire to say to us, and that our hearts would be refreshed. All that stuff in us that’s crooked would be cast away and torn down and new walls of truth and understanding will secure our lives. We will give You praise and we ask Your favor upon the preacher today, that You might use me to speak in accordance to Your Oracles and we’ll give You all praise for whatever is accomplished, in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen.
