Waiting On My Prayerful Expectations
If all problems, solutions, and lessons learned could be microwave fast, oh boy, think about how much time we would save! Sadly, this technology only works on food, so it’s back to the Bible for us. Our Team has done an excellent job encouraging us with a variety of devotions about “Patience to Wait on the Lord.” Meditate on this chapter this week and may your hearts be uplifted!
SCRIPTURE: “Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. 2 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved. 3 How long will you attack a man? You shall be slain, all of you, like a leaning wall and a tottering fence. 4 They only consult to cast him down from his high position; They delight in lies; They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah 5 My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah 9 Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, they are altogether lighter than vapor. 10 Do not trust in oppression, nor vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
11 God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God. 12 Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; for You render to each one according to his work.” Psalm 62:1-12

My prayers are filled with faith, hope, and expectations,
Patiently waiting to thrive from God’s truth while unveiling His interpretations.
For the difficulties I greet, You are already there,
For the troubles I meet, I have no anxiety or fears.
After all, He allows the troubles and obstacles I face,
Therefore, my prayerful expectations facilitate my wait.
So, I have no complaints or intentions of speaking against my Lord,
Yet, I quietly expect what He will do, as I trust His will to spiritually soar.
Cheerfully, acquiring duty and comfort while my soul waits,
Walking by faith and prioritizing His affairs at the Holy Spirit’s pace.
His will and wisdom are essential and prominent,
Agreeing to patiently trust for the sake of His providence.
However, doubt may rise as obstacles occur,
My certainty in Him causes my will and His will to merge.
He is my salvation, rock, defense, and refuge,
I am His calm resolve to wait, and I shall not be moved.
So, I will quietly wait on the Lord for His many blessings,
I refuse to entertain those who are indifferent or contest Him.
Therefore, I am depending on my Lord through my trials and tribulations,
Your grace is sufficient throughout my waiting and prayerful expectations.
Prayer: Father! You are trustworthy! You are worthy! You are powerful! I believe in Your truth and promises. I will wait for You with great anticipation in the matters that I face. In the matchless name of Jesus.
