MAINTAINING THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT IN THE BOND OF PEACE: Prove yourselves doers of the Word, and not merely hearers.

SCRIPTURE: "...walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing forbearance to one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." Ephesians 4:1-3
"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." James 1:22
Here's the big idea: The unity of the Spirit is the ministry of the Spirit to herald unity between all our spirits, eternity past, present, and future towards a worshipful dynamic in true fellowship in Christ. The requirement is an interdependent peace such as only God can give, that we can receive [and have] and that we can express. This notion is so important that the text puts being diligent upon the urge and work to live in peace.

This understanding is so important that peace is tied to being an essential effect of one's calling, that one's walk being the most human it can be, requires the peace of God.
To walk worthy, as Paul puts it, is his encouragement to all who believe, as Paul sees himself as a captive [prisoner] of the Lord, as well as captivated by the gospel... 'having feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace' considering the whole armor of God and our prescribed spiritual brawl.

Let there be peace first where it matters most, in the heart, upon which all actions conform.
Let there be peace first where it matters most, in the heart, whereof biblical contentment takes breath, while rightly dismantling the office of our idols.
Let there be peace first where it matters most, in the heart, having accepted as primary that which we once gazed at and are presently refreshed with, seeing 'the cross' and the merits of Jesus' work.

Prayerfully Engage All Charitably Every time because of His charity towards us...knowing His patience. 'Blessed are the peacemakers...' PEACE as a fruit of the Spirit, offers a 'bond', by which we all are obligated to enjoy and endure the process of cultivation. Let us cherish our liberty, with and through the light we share, and maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. And upon every ache and every pleasantry born of that dear effort, and with every pursuit, let our abiding reflect gratefulness as reasonable. Jesus be praised!
Beholding Him, we shall behold Him!

Prayer: Dear Lord, for the victory preceding me, and the victory in front of me, I give my thanks to You. Amen.

Yes, may we observe our liberties in the faith as an opportunity to promote peace and harmony! Thank you, Doc!
