Who’s Behind This Thought?

SCRIPTURE: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-6
Those who are Christians should be able to recognize potential areas that could be attacked by demons.  If you are walking with the Lord, you know you have weaknesses. To not acknowledge it is a road to self-deception.  You know if you step back there’s some people in your life that you have to not do what they say or you have to be guarded about what they say, because that is your emotions speaking, that’s not the Spirit of God. There are some Christians who can recognize areas of demonize potential, though you are saved. There is a target, we all have targets. Is there an area in your life where you are suffering repeated defeat?  Is there a problem in your cyclic thinking that you can’t break free?  Do you still have strongholds that came from thinking that was something precipitated from the past? The Spirit of God does not bring up your past. The Spirit of God does not torment you with your past.  That’s another spirit. Stop entertaining it. Stop embracing it. Say, “I know who’s behind this thought!”

PRAYER: Gracious God we bring every thought into captivity to Your Spirit. We know that we cannot fight against these principalities with the tools of the flesh.  When the enemy rises up, when our weaknesses are exposed, when our guard is lowered, remind us of Your power that resides in each believer to resist the adversary.  You said that he would flee if we resist him. As we continue to seek You, Lord, give us ears to hear, discern, and obey Your Word.   Thank You Jesus, for giving us the victory.  In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
