There is Work for You to Do!

Scripture: “ Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 ‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.’” Jeremiah 1:4-5
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,” Ephesians 1:3-5

God does a lot of Pre-work!...What is pre-work? Pre-work is God working the situation that you are about to walk in. He’s working a situation before you show up. So that when you show up, most of the work is done! You just gotta be obedient to what He has called you to. Then you will be surprised when this thing happens, but God was working before you showed up.

Prayer: Our Lord and our God, before You established the foundations of this world You had us in mind. Our birth, sin, salvation, work and death already known and predetermined by You before the foundation of the world. Yet Your predetermined will and our freewill in some miraculous way produces Romans 8:28. Just as Your Word will not return unto You void, Your will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord, we want to be obedient to Your Word and Your call, forgive us when we take our eyes off both. We want to be laser focused on You and the work You have prepared for each one of us to do. Bless Your name, Lord God and receive Your glory!
