Ask Not, Have Not!

Scripture: Matthew 21:21–22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
The Lord hears the prayers of His people,
Our request maybe different, but the value is equal;

The desires of His children are significant,
It reveals relationship, as an active or inactive, participant;

The Lord knows what’s needed before I even ask,
My petition demonstrates dependency to complete assigned tasks;

Blessings are unlimited, and His grace never stops,
Desires are at bay, so I have not, because I ask not;

Provisions are required to fulfill needs and wants,
Favor is attached to faith, while asking the Lord upfront;

Delighting in Him through His divine will,
Praying with expectations, while standing patient and still;

I will consider all that I have, and don’t have,
But, only through His will, I will ask;

Therefore, I rejoice because His answers are preset,
I am content whether the response is yes, no, or not yet.

Prayer: I deny myself by ignoring or rejecting my Provider who is able to bless me with more than I can ever ask or think. Forgive me Lord! The biggest issue with prayer is when there is no prayer. I have petitions that were never made. Certainly, in those moments I displayed doubt while lacking trust and faith. As I meditate on You, grant me hope in my matters. I ask this in the name of Your Son, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen, I must open my mouth to ask Jesus about it. Thanks Bro. Glenny.

Amen brother. Not asking is a trust matter. Holy Spirit, enlarge our trust in You. Amen.

Trust and obey: for there is no other way. Seek, and you shall find, ask, and He will give liberally out of His abundance. His well never runs dry.
