The One That Got Away [Until Now] Part

A faith which behaves is a faith which saves...and the bedrock of our believing is Jesus. Trust ye Him! His big move on our behalf awaits our agreement.  America, listen up.

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death." Proverbs 14:12
"Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near." Isaiah 55:6
"Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

Simeon speaking:
"Now Lord, Thou dost let Thy bond-servant depart in peace, according to Thy word; for my eyes have seen Thy salvation, which Thou hast prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light of revelation to the gentiles, and the glory of Thy people Israel." Luke 2:29-32
Hereof  the overarching mercy of God meets both spiritual 'Israel' and 'Edom' [and as well the literal descendants of Jacob and Esau] with a common salvation, in Christ.
[Interesting that in Hebrew both Edom and Adam share the same characters, with the shared meaning of 'humanity']

PRAYER: Dear Lord, let me appreciate beyond my distractedness each and every day the need to know You more, and with that to be available to weather this roller-coaster life of ours with the anchor of truth, having Jesus, and in Him, having peace. I pray that the gift of life in me will be sufficiently impressive to bring confession, and usher in blessing, that my yielding will bring uplift, in Jesus' name.  I shall rejoice and be glad, in Him. Amen.
