Fruits of the Spirit
Scripture: Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 [a]gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Let’s have some fun and pick some FRUIT as the spring season approaches
Depending on the spirit, I call for help
The spirit is Holy, the flesh for self
The spirit lives in me, alive and strong
It can’t be removed, or off and on
The fruit of the spirit, my soul is ripe
My roots are deep, fed by His light
Seeds are planted, a harvest in order
A thirsty soul, baptized in water
Time goes on, the fruit must grow
The flesh is fast, a blessing is slow
Sweet and tasty, plenty of options
Eat good fruit, before it gets rotten
The fruit of kindness, I’m going bananas
Polite with flavor, showing good manners
Sharing God’s character, truth with knowledge
Papayas, grapes, kiwi, and olives
A pear of reactions, I’m calm with peace
Support from the family, a fruitful feast
Be patient and wait, sitting on a pine
apple of my eye, my blessings on time
My good deeds shine, bright as a lemon
Jesus is love, my honeydew melon
Peachy persona, a spirit that’s dwelling
Sitting in the yard, eating watermelon
Cherry split dreams, preserving my fruit
Sometimes I fail, He waters the roots
Resting in His arms, gentle like a plum
Flavored cucumbers, I want to eat some
Taste from God’s grace, sweet with hearten
Planting His seeds, working in His garden
He shaped my soul, His love is faithful
Offering joy, with a peace of mango
The spirit is real, scriptures the proof
A servant of the Lord, known by His fruit
Prayer: Thank You Father for making it clear of the standards we are to live by daily. And choosing to work through us for others to see Your fruit. In fact, You have demonstrated these things to us to understand the experience of fruits of the spirit. We will be careful to give You all the glory in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen!
