God is….
SCRIPTURE: “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10

We find comfort in the many “God is…” statements in the Bible, but none as dear as the ones God has proven Himself to be to us. For it is through our personal relationship with Him that we can now testify that “He is…”
God is a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. Psalm 3:3
God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
God, in the midst of thee, is mighty!
God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26
God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another. Psalm 75:7
God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly Psalm 84:11
God is merciful. Psalm 116:5
God be true but every man a liar. Romans 3:4
God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted more than you can bear, 1 Corinthians 10:13
God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20
God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
So what is your, “God is…” statement? After you have reflected on ALL He is and ALL He has done for you, list them below in the comment section and let your heart swell with thanksgiving!
Prayer: Father in Heaven, You are great and greatly to be praised. Our souls make its boast in You. The humble shall hear thereof and be glad! We magnify and exalt Your name, because there is no other like You, worthy of our praise! Your hand has touched our hearts and minds and have awakened that which was dormant: our prayer lives, our exhortation of Your goodness, our weak memories, and our tendency to lean on our own understanding. Thank You Father for Your Word, for Pastors and Teachers whom You use to touch those areas in us that exalt themselves against the knowledge of You. May we always remember and never underestimate that You are, and that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You!

God is my light in darkness! God is the source and the strength of my life! God is my shepherd! God is so much more!! Thank you sister Paula for this challenging devotional!!
God is my “friend” at all times; God is my comfort when I am distressed; God is truth; God is my protector; God is my peace, my everything!
God is my mind stabilizer.
God is that ever abiding presence whose big voice is lovingly and tolerably put forth as whispers, that I may bear the eternal and the heaven
and the heavenly here and now.
God is and brings that peace that passes all understanding. Amen.
Amen,Sister Paula! God is my all an all i can trust, that He knows everything we are going through!!
