"You Better 'T-H-I-N-K’ pt2

Scripture: "...Holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain." Philippians 2:16
As Jesus was perfectly mindful for our sakes to exit glory and the Glorious, to be God with us, so should we in kind, invite, receive, and keep a lifted gaze, which for the presence of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Word, we have the capacity to live as meant. We should be so mindful. We should be so yielded. We should be inclined to be good thinkers.

Our new normal requires this transformation, or put scripturally:
"Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God." Colossians 3:16
Amen! Be filled, and let spill!

"..be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth." Ephesians 4:23-24
What a thought!

"...whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things." Philippians 4:8
Hallelujah! Yes, think on these things!

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."
Romans 12:2
Indeed, our minds matter!

When we "hold fast to the word of life" we hold first with our mind... so then we let salvation in Jesus be as a capable helmet, to protect what we need to go forth, and permit the going forth rightly, resisting the contrary much. Hold fast to that precious word of life, for through it and of it comes our reasonable service, and the source of our eternal delight.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to bring into submission these thoughts, and this mind that I might please You increasingly, each day. This I prayerfully ask, in Jesus' name.
