The Big "If"

Conditional promises are presented throughout the Bible,
The Lord’s part is established, however, my choice is vital;

The Lord makes it clear that my desires will be provided,
Once I ask, how I respond will be the determining factor decided;

The “IF” is the key that opens wisdom and understanding,
It curves my appetite for His pleasure to influence my planning;

The “IF” establishes my disposition towards the Lord,
It positions me to look up to fulfill my desires and voids;

The “IF” opens possibilities that I could ever ask or think,
It brings spiritual insight and clarity to my daily instincts;

The “IF” says there is someone else in charge of my might,
The Lord Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life;

The “IF” recognizes one source that’s available by the second, minute, and hour,
My Father will be glorified, I will bear fruit, and I will be known as His disciple;

Now I am confident when I can come and repeat this promise in prayer,
If I abide in Him, He will abide in me, and my desires will be exclusively prepared.

Prayer: Faithful You are, Lord! You’ve equipped me with all that I need to bring
glory to Your name. Meanwhile, I am able to acquire and reap the spiritual
benefits. I thank You, Lord! You are worthy of much praise. I lift this up to You in
Your Son’s name. Amen.
