God Can Use Anybody!

Scripture: “ and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.” Colossians 1:20-23
One of the things we must bring to record is that God can use anybody; He’s not limited because we are. He’s not even as selective as we are, because everyone He’s ever used has been dirty.  That might make some of you delusional saints uncomfortable, because you say that you’ve always been clean, but let the preacher tell you that you’re a liar! You are in a state of delusion if you think that you’ve always been clean. There is not one person in God’s family that’s always been clean . Many times, God will go to great lengths to win people to Him and sometimes He goes outside of our logic, outside of our reasoning, outside our picture of Him.  Have you regulated or regarded others as being not worthy enough to be used by God?

Prayer: Jesus, You did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance. That would be us. We thank You that our conditions did not repel You or cause You to turn away from us.   Help us to see the spiritual needs of those around us, just as you saw ours. We were broken, needy, deeply entrenched in sin, yet You regarded our helpless estate and still shed Your blood for our souls. Thank You for operating beyond logic, beyond reason, beyond my finite mind. You are God and God alone!

When I was wretched, miserable, poor, and blind, He poured out His mercy, saving me in His time! Praise the LORD! Excellent word, Pastor.

Praise God!!! I need to see this world through God’s eyes. My initial response is to see it naturally. Lord, help me to see things the way You see them and thank You for using anybody you want!
