A Veteran Student
Scripture: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16
I am a grateful child of God
His goodness has created a servant’s heart
I just can’t keep His love to myself
Yet, the love I’m shown is available for someone else
So, I serve according to His glory
I’m ecstatic to share who is the Author of my story
I’ve experienced His obstacles for some time now
Still, His lessons are revealing, hopeful, and sound
His Word is a reminder that I am His everlasting student
He teaches wisdom and discernment with a syllabus that’s proven
He is equipping me to be His personal soldier
As I draw nearer to Him my faith becomes bolder
So, I pick up my Sword as He slays evilness and enemies
Putting on His armor that keeps, protects, and defends me
Therefore, I am His steward, soldier, student, and servant
His depth is too deep to know, I am His son still learning.
Prayer: Teach me Lord! Teach me! The moments I think I know something, there’s another lesson around the corner. Forgive me, Lord, for not being a good student. Clearly, I need the seat up front. Continue to share Your wisdom, Father. You know better than I with my matters. I am so grateful to have a sovereign God. You know all. Teach me Lord! Teach me! You are prepping me to be a true soldier and servant. Teach me Lord! Teach me! I lift this prayer in the name of Jesus.
