Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna!

Scripture: John 12:12-15  - The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out “Hosanna!‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The King of Israel!” 14 Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: 15 “Fear not, daughter of Zion; Behold, your King is coming, Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

A savior was needed then, and a savior is needed now
We are suffering from the sorrows and troubles you’ve allowed

We’ve gathered waiting for Your return
We believe our cries have been considered and heard

You told us to fear not
Please continue to do, what we cannot

We are waving our Palms as You dwell in our midst
Bring hope and promises to what presently exists

The economy, false prophets, evil, and injustices
Save those who’ve turned away through religious practices

We understand our cry should be in every season
Times are worsening, so we must pray without ceasing

So, with urgency and desperation, we seek deliverance
We are comforted by your presence with a true reverence

Oh Lord, we are falling at Your feet with expectation
You are the Ruler and King of the world, and all nations

Therefore, we praise Your name in an anticipatory manner
Loudly, we are shouting, Hosanna! Hosanna! Hosanna!

Prayer: Thank You for saving us Father! You’ve walked in our shoes. As we pray and make our petitions. My Lord can sympathize with me. You know my trials, challenges, and positions. We couldn’t walk this faith walk without Your love and compassion. We come to You in the name of Jesus, Amen!
