THE CHURCH: Living Out the Lifestyle of Jesus
45 Days of Praying for the Elections - DAY 23
SCRIPTURE: “Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:1-4

Paul loved living because he wanted Christ to have every opportunity to live through him. Therefore, he was committed to truth – Philippians 1:21 “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Yes, to be with Christ would be far better, Paul stated, but nevertheless to remain in the flesh was more needful. Yes, needful to continue to help other believers to grow in conduct worthy of the gospel of Christ and together be committed to sharing the gospel. BUT our reality now is that the church of the Lord Jesus Christ has left her first love. She has become apathetic, desensitized to the burden of lost souls and uninvolved in ministry.
Yet, we are still here to fulfill God’s plan. Paul has challenged us “Therefore if (since) there is consolation (encouragement) in Christ, if (since) there is comfort of His love through us, if (since) there is fellowship of the Spirit, if (since) we can show affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.” Yes, I need you and you need me as we continue to stand in these last and evil days for God’s glory!!
Prayer: My heart Lord, examine my heart and convict me of those strongholds of selfishness. Your heart Lord, whatever is breaking Your heart may I be convicted to obey You so that You may have every opportunity to Glorify You Name. I love You JESUS!!!

Amen?? Thank You Father for Your word. May we boldly share the gospel to everyone, as we live out these last days, until You bring us home. Amen
Amen and Amen
Absolutely, we have become apathetic, desensitized to the burden of lost souls and uninvolved in ministry. It’s like we have flatlined. Revive our compassion for the unsaved, Lord.
