God's Throne of Grace
The heart that is encouraged by God's Word can approach the day with hope. Be encouraged by God's Word and our Genesis Bible Fellowship Youth and Young Adults' (Gen. B.FY) Devotionals. When you see them, please make sure to encourage them!
SCRIPTURE: “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need’’ Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)
God is the only one who gives grace when we sin and fall short of His glory. God tells us we should have confidence in the relationship He has established with us. This doesn’t mean that we should be arrogant and presume upon the grace of God (Psalm 19:13). Rather, we go to the throne of grace because we have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ to receive mercy and grace in the time of need.
Prayer: Dear Lord forgives us for our prayerlessness. We want to allow quality prayer time so that way may come to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace. In Jesus name, Amen.

There is a certain quality to having an 'approach' to the throne of grace that aligns us to receive of God, the quality of a heavenly confidence when we are yielded. May it daily be so for us all in Jesus' name. Glorify Him with a yielded spirit.
