Reliable Reasons [Part 1]

SCRIPTURE: "But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.. “  1 Peter 3:15 [NKJV]
Easter, also known as Resurrection Sunday, is celebrated on April 9 th in the year of our Lord, 2023. I pray for many souls that it will not just be another Sunday upon which the most amazing act of love, grace, and mystery will be thoughtlessly dismissed. Although Jesus Christ transcends the creation, yet He revealed Himself to all of us who were born from the womb in need of a Savior. [Ps. 51:5] While there are numerous stories and historical accounts about folks who have given themselves up to save the temporal lives of others, the gospel of Christ is without comparison! It details the account of His sacrificial death and resurrection on the third day to accomplish eternal salvation for every believing soul; however, few narratives are as vehemently contested and debated.
This holy season, as is done every year, there will be no shortage of programs on network television, internet platforms, and other types of media, presenting theologians and religious academicians, many of them elaborating on various theories about the deity of the Man Christ Jesus. Oh, they’ll not acknowledge Him as the God-Man [100% God and 100% man]; nor are they likely to present any arguments that lead any skeptics to seriously consider the facts of who Jesus Himself claimed to be. We who profess to know Him, however, should be ready to humbly give inquirers reasons for why we’ve staked our eternal destiny upon this One whom we know to be THE way, THE truth, and THE life! [Jn.
14:6]

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, as the lyrics of a song from yesteryear say of Your Son, [He] “..laid His body down to be sin for us; gave His earthly crown so we could be kings; yes, He came to break the yoke of darkness that would harness all mankind.” We love and praise You, LORD. Thank You and Amen!
[Song lyrics from “Heaven Came to Earth“; sung by The Second Chapter of Acts
