Life
Scripture: Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
How shall we do this thing called life? Scripture says (Ps 34:1) to Bless the Lord at all times and allow His Praise to last always; “Oh, but Lord, things are not going my way”;” I feel stressed”; “I feel hurt”; “I feel less than satisfied”; Scripture teaches, In whatever state I am, it should be well with my soul; (Philippians 4:11) Paul said he has learned to be content in whatever state he was in; and he had been in some bad places, (beatings, cold & dingy prisons, drowning in fierce waters). So, Lord, what are you telling us? Scriptures teach that Jesus promised us that He will never leave us nor forsake us; Well, Lord, how does this promise bring comfort? The Lord says He has given us a cloud of witnesses; for they can testify of His faithfulness and goodness, His rescue, His embrace, His love, His conquering and everlasting victory; for those who have lived before us have experienced God’s sustaining power and it has been documented for our reference; The Lord is a dependable source of strength, love, and power; the former saints’ record can bring us an awakening to God’s immutable character, His relentless care for us; so much so that we come alive over and over again. We are His children; and He has said (John 14:1) that where He is, we shall be and then in (Eph 2:6), He teaches us that it is as if we are already seated in the Heavenlies.
Prayer: Oh Lord, thank you for YOUR Word; I can run to it for shelter; I can run to it for HOPE; I can run to it FOR LIFE!! We bless YOU for You never fail us - IN Jesus’s Name-Amen!
