Thank You Jesus

SCRIPTURE: “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged ours sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.” Hebrews 1:1-4
When reminded of my redemption in Christ and all of what that incapsulates, I become “putty”; I am humbled. For because of Christ’s unique birth (virgin), life (sacrifice), death (by crucifixion), and His ascent (resurrection), I can celebrate and choose to live above this world and its diabolical practices.

Some people we meet regard Christ as just a religious leader and or just a renown moral teacher. Though Christ can be placed into these highly acclaimed categories, He is so much more! Christ is Truth; He is the Messiah! He reigns with so much Holiness and Power that He shuts the mouth of the Law and all its condemnation against us. God has proven His everlasting love for the whole world with Jesus’ triumphant and finished work on the cross. For He, with great intent, imputed His Righteousness to us even while we were enemies.

Oh, what a love! A love like no other. Why would we choose to give glory to any other for what God has done. Before time, God determined to demonstrate His love to a dead hopeless people who could do nothing to rescue themselves; they required God, Himself, to save them from their sin.

PRAYER:
Lord, I am grateful for Your plan of redemption. We see the difference Your agape love makes. Help us to submit to all You have provided for us in Christ Jesus; that we would love exactly as You do. We give You Glory for this Great Gospel as it gives us overwhelming abilities to rise with You and triumph! Hallelujah! In Jesus’ Name-Amen!
