THE CHURCH: AWAKE the EKKLESIA

45 Days of Praying for the Elections - DAY 30

Paul says in Ephesians 5:14 “Awake you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” AWAKE CHURCH!! AWAKE the EKKLESIA – God’s called out ones for the time is late!! Yes, we must redeem the time because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:16) Yes, we are to walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time and letting our speech (of truth from God’s Word) always be seasoned with salt, so that we may know how to answer the darkness of deception of lies around us.

The Lord Jesus Christ has left us in this world and has said that we are salt which preserves and slows decay, and light that dispels darkness (Matthew 5:13-14). AWAKE CHURCH!! AWAKE EKKLESIA!! Because JESUS is coming soon, and we are at the 11th hour. You and I are still here to share the Gospel through tracts, witnessing and any opportunity given to make HIM known that the lost can be saved. We see God’s Hand upon Israel and His birth pangs of judgment upon our nation and the nations of the world. How awesome to be living in these biblical times to experience the power of God’s Word so AWAKE CHURCH because the rapture is coming sooooooon!!

Prayer: Oh Father, how exceedingly wonderful it is to know You as Lord and to be assured of eternal salvation. But break our hearts for our sluggishness and apathy in sharing the Gospel. You said that the harvest is plenteous, but the laborers are few. LORD, we say as Isaiah 6:8,  “Here am I! Send me!”
