Seeing Things as God Sees Them

The Scriptures tell us that the ungodly can’t come up, but we can go down. We are saved, but we have never bought into the reality that God wants to change our thinking. Some of us, though we are Christians, operate no greater than the natural man. We think like we are unsaved. We think like we’ve always thought and usually when it is exposed, it is when crisis comes. We resort back to what we’ve always known and that is why we make more messes than successes, because we are trying to be successful thinking like we used to think.

Human emotions will take you all over the place and many of us react emotionally and never check it with the Word. When you have the Word in you, in the seat of you, you never go too far. When you go out there on your emotions, you have an anchor tied to you so that you get a yank when you go too far. You have something in you that enables you to calm the storm that you have your own personal “peace be still” because of what you have done with the Word of God. God is saying to walk in His assigned success. It depends on seeing it as He reveals it. Revelation of it is framed through the ministry of the Word. When God is going to reveal Himself to you through words, it comes through the Word of God.

PRAYER: Father in heaven, we are overwhelmed from every side with information and distractions in this world. We bow our hearts before today to ask You to place in our hearts and minds what is in You. Please make know Your thoughts and ways that we may clearly see what pleases You as we live and serve for Your glory. In Jesus Name we pray, amen.
