Stepping Into Time

SCRIPTURE: “And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2 This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. 3 So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city. 4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. 6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 1:1-7

And it came to pass, the Creator veiled His glory in flesh and entered into His created world– hallelujah!!! He made Himself of no reputation and coming in the likeness of men He humbled Himself and became obedient from that first cry to His death on the cross. For by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many would be made righteous. (Romans 5:19)

The 100%God and 100%Man, stepping into time to fulfill and keep His own Law in order to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons (Galatians 4:5) The birth of Christ brought into time what was done before time that whoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life.

Prayer: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing.” And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne and to the LAMB, forever and ever!” (Revelations 5:12b-13)
