REMOVAL OF CONFUSION: Trust and Obey the Word of God

Our Devotional Team has some great perspectives instore for you based on this week’s theme Removal of Confusion. By week’s end not only will you have a better understanding about confusion, but you will also have 1 Corinthians 14:33 committed to memory.
SCRIPTURE: “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.” I Corinthians 14:33
Believers of this age are experiencing confusion/disorderliness repeatedly while on life’s path. Perhaps but sadly, in churches, home life, schools, workplaces, and human relations are all subjected to confusion when ideas of men are addressed in a self-willed way. Man’s ways are viewed as without concern for others. There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end leads to destruction (Proverbs 16:25). Mere men think his way is lawful and good in his own eyes. Destructive ways result is disruptive, confusing order.

I was invited to an Elementary school’s program on two occasions. The performance by the children was very well conducted; however, both events’ opening and closing were met with confusion. I felt pressed, while keeping my eyes on the exit. Children were caught-up in this massive crowd attempting to meet up with family. A peaceful orderly exit was missing. God certainly was not welcomed or even invited in. It stands confirmed, “without Me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Educators and administrators, for the most part, are moving towards schools without a deity. That practice welcomes disorder/confusion.

Confusion cannot be the work of the Spirit. God is not the author of disorder/confusion. He is the God of order for, He created the universe with perfection and order. Confusion is from the pages of Satan’s introduction of sin, chaos, and disorder. He is the architect of sin and disorder. Our conduct is marred by chaos and disorder in the home, workplace and even our place of worship. I Peter 5:8 warns that “your enemy the devil prowls about– looking for someone to destroy. The cause of confusion is Satan tactics. He creeps into our lives sowing confusion and chaos wherever he goes. God is in control of every situation and the Holy Spirit guides and teaches. Trust God and lean not unto our own understanding (Prov. 3:5.6). Ask, does my conduct align with Scripture, is God glorified, is fruit produced and does it lead me to a closer walk with God?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Your church shall be edified. When the saints of all churches gather; there should be Your coherent process followed, which results in peace. For, Your Word declares that You are the God of order. In Jesus. Amen

Amen, let us recognize confusion when we see it, fight it with the spiritual and not get pulled in by the emotional.
