GRACE ABOUNDS MORE
Scripture: "Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more," Romans 5:20

Where sin abounded, grace abounded even more,
I can freely experience what the Lord has in store;
I’ve walked defeated carrying the burdens of my transgressions,
The guilt of my sin has hindered my potential and progression;
Often, feeling insecure about my heavenly connection,
However, grace, has ensured the necessary protection;
Grace has granted me freedom to move forward,
No shame is necessary for the steps I’m ordered;
Although there are consequences for my sin,
He offers the opportunity to confess and repent;
Where sin abounded, grace abounded even more,
I can freely experience what the Lord has in store;
Grace is a realization of God’s sovereignty,
He handles me with care, compassion, and empathy;
This gesture alters the weight on my shoulders,
It allows me to serve on His behalf with confidence and boldness;
He responds to me as if I never sinned,
Not to condone my behaviors, but to confide in Him;
Therefore, I am approved for a lifetime of assurance,
Not of my works, but His grace renews my endurance;
Where sin abounded, grace abounded even more,
I can freely experience what the Lord has in store.
Prayer: Without Your grace, where would I be? In the moments I am discouraged, grace reminds me of Your love, power, and commitment to me. You are worthy of praise! In the name of Your Son. Amen!
