What God Has Shown Me… HE Answers Prayers
Two more Devotionals written by our GBFC Youth will be posted and this will close out the month of June. Thanks be to God for our GBFC Youth and the encouragement they gave us. May the Word of God and their devotional continue to bless you!
SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24
God has shown me that HE answers prayers. When I needed money for my student leadership conference, I prayed asking God to help me meet my goal. With help from God and everyone at church I was able to raise all the money I needed. God has answered my prayers before, but this was in a bigger way than I have seen before.
When I was debating if I should go on this trip or choose a less expensive trip, I was encouraged to go on this trip because it was what I really want to do in life (Midwife or OB). I wasn’t sure if I was going to raise much money, but when I got to church on Sunday so many people blessed me. People kept walking up to me and handing me envelopes with money. Some people I have never talked to before encouraged me and gave me money for my trip. I was overwhelmed by my prayers being answered and the goodness of God that showed through His people.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for answering my prayers and always providing for me. Amen.

We don't always see how things will work out but God is there to provides ALL our needs. When our will aligns with His and we delight ourselves in the Lord "He will give you the desires of your heart" (Ps 37:4)
