SCRIPTURE: “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” 1 Corinthians 13:11
The conflict of being a child and a man. One of my favorite verses is “when I became a man, I put away childish things.” I believe this is by far one of the most relevant verses as a young adult. What stopped this verse from helping me as a person was my pride. I often fell in the trap of, “I can do this on my own.” Ultimately, I realized I just can’t.
PRAYER: I pray for those young and old, not through body, but through their soul. I pray you take heed and understand the lessons around you. Use these lessons as a tool in your life to please God and not your own desires. Thank you, God, for Your mercy and grace.
