The Danger of Fellowshipping with Demons!

SCRIPTURE: “ I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.” Galatians 5:16-18
When we participate in areas where demons have control, whether it be with people, places, possessions, we subject ourselves to being infiltrated by demonic patterns of thinking and they cause us to think more like where we came from-the old life. We find ourselves ordering ourselves differently and certainly in a way that is not pleasing to God. That is a real danger of fellowshipping with demons. Demons want to control thought, infiltrate our lifestyles so that we can order ourselves in a way that is not pleasing to God. They cannot steal our salvation, but they certainly can retard the process and they can cause frustration in a believer’s life.

PRAYER: Father in heaven, we have let our guard down. We have entertained demons. We have entertained thoughts, ideals, principles, practices that don’t align with Your Word. Certainly, at times, we have grown weary beating our flesh into subjection to the Spirit, in hopes for a little taste of what we think we are missing. How else can we explain our duplicity in thinking, in serving, in worshipping You?  You said that a little leaven leavens the whole lump and like the leaven, our sin rises to a level where it cannot be confined to one area.  Father in the name of Jesus, shut it down! Every thought, every imagination, every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of You, SHUT IT DOWN!  Jesus, in all that we do, we commit ourselves to walk in the Spirit so we will not fulfill the lust of our flesh. Father in heaven, want to be well pleasing to you!  We pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Amen. LORD have Your way with me, and let my 'yes' be strong.
