FACING THE FACTS, FOR FREEDOM FROM FICTION-We’ve an intelligent Designer!

SCRIPTURE: “This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them Man in the day when they were created.” Genesis 5:1,2
“And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them; and God said to them Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it...” [Genesis 1:28]
“And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them; and God said to them Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it...” [Genesis 1:28]
The text invites us to ‘ask,’ and to do so ‘in faith.’ And even though the Bible is not a biology book, it does inform us well, and offers us wisdom to rely on. It tells us early on that there is a Creator-creation distinction, and that we are a special part of God’s creation. We are given the privilege of overseeing this world we’ve been introduced to, and as human beings, living souls, or as earthlings, we share with other creatures the ability to reproduce, given the nuanced attributes of being male on the one hand and female on the other, with the maturing version of each respectively called ‘man’ and ‘woman,’ [our physical and physiological distinctions are afforded us by our genetics]. We are described as image-bearers of God, as well as being blessed by God.
This faith position so fits the ‘theory’ of intelligent design, in contrast with the evolutionary ‘theory.’ We’ve an intelligent Designer! As darkness rolls up its sleeves and issues its darts, let us all respond in kind with the irrefutable backing of the Holy Spirit, who, having anointed us, has also readied us. Lord, here am I! Set free to speak, let each curious heart loose its query. In ‘asking,’ we are given these: “How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart” [Psalm:1, 2; Psalm 119:1, 2] .
“All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God might be adequate, equipped for every good work... preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires; and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths” [2 Timothy 3:16, and 4:2-4].
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth, and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My Word be which goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it” [Isaiah 55:10, 11].
”But He [Jesus] answered and said “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” [Matthew 4:4]
PRAYER: Dear Lord, in all matters of understanding, may Your Word reign supreme in me. Yes, tender my errors and transform my ways... for in Your Word, and of it, are both Truth, and Light, and Life! Heavenly Word, speak to me, being breath for me. I pray this gratefully in the precious name of Jesus. I ask this humbly, before the Word. Let my eternal and truest citizenship show to the glory of God Most High. Amen!
