Imperfect, But Usable!
SCRIPTURE: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” 2 Corinthians 4:7
It’s not about you, it’s not about me. We just show up and do what we do. The supernatural working of God is such that He is able to work through these finite, limited, broken down, sometimes imperfect vessels and make a situation look like we’re operating supernaturally like the power is coming from us. No, God’s power is coming through us.
Prayer: Lord our God, right away we want to thank You that You are not like us. You are never stymied by our many limitations, yet You are willing to convey Your strength and Your might in and through us. Help us to remember that our salvation and our faith walk are by Your grace and mercy and that it’s Your power that enables us to accomplish all that You ask.
