People Are Laughing Out Loud at My Bible

2 Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for [c]instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Many people laugh at my Bible because of its condition,
But, a Bible falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t;
Rejoicing unto the Lord for another day,
It really doesn’t matter what comes my way;
Peace and joy are established inside of me,
It’s beyond a feeling or something good happening;
My praise is influenced from what the Lord has already done,
No matter the circumstances, I rejoice because of where I came from;
Creating a heart of thankfulness and gratefulness,
Blown away of how the Lord continues to show His faithfulness;
Yet, many people laugh at my Bible because of its condition,
But, a Bible falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t;
It’s the treasure map of my faith with Holy regard,
Knowingly, ignorance of the Bible is ignorance of God;
It is written by Him Himself,
How can I leave my Bible on the shelf?
When the world gets dark, The Bible is the light,
We are informed, corrected, and encouraged through His might;
There’s no such thing as a useful Christian that’s not a student of the Bible,
A bible that’s fresh, yet filled with dust will exhibit a Christian that’s idle
Still, many people laugh at my Bible because of its condition,
But, a Bible falling apart usually belongs to someone who isn’t;
It’s a Living Word written to transform us,
Created to encourage, correct, and change us;
The Bible is the only book whose Author is always present,
Engaging Him intellectually and personally while experiencing His lessons;
So, I will continue to highlight, take notes, and tape my Bible pages,
It’s an honor to reintroduce myself daily to my Lord and Savior;
Therefore, I don’t mine you laughing at my bible and its condition,
As longs as this world is falling apart, take a funny guess of who isn’t.
Prayer: Your Word is alive! Your Word is conviction! Your Word is hope! Your Word is light! I can go on and on with describing the impact of Your Word. We have no excuses. You laid it out for us in consideration of us. Thank You Lord! In the matchless name of Jesus. Amen!

Amen brother. My 'ol favrite bible, much as me s'got staples, duct tape and such keeping it together... pages are wrinkled, torn and taped up, highlighted and underscored... I'm sure some of my DNA is settled on it along with fingerprints. But such as it is, I'm so glad to have it. Its the only book I have thats a 'friend'.
