Give Unto Us that Enlightenment

Weekends in the month of December will be devoted to scripture and prayer! Weekly devotions will resume Mondays through Fridays. Join us in Word and Prayer!
Scripture: “ Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, 16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power” Ephesians 1:15-19
Prayer: Our eternal Father in Heaven, we humble our hearts before you once again today, rejoicing for indeed You are the God of our salvation. You are our strength, You are our refuge, You are our strong tower, You have been our sufficiency, not only this year, but all of the years that we have walked with You in faith.  We have found You to be everything You say You are, and You have done things beyond our worthiness and we thank You for that. As a people gathered in this place, we open Your Word, yielding ourselves to the Holy Spirit, desiring that He would give unto us that enlightenment, that would enable us to see all matters before us today from a divine perspective.  That we would see as You see, that we would understand as You intend. That in all things what You desire to accomplish in us would be brought to past and we might leave this day with something added to us to make us more like Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. We’ll give You praise; we’ll give You thanks in Jesus Name. Amen!

Yes Lord, You have indeed been all that You say You are. Thank you for Your wisdom, and enlightenment. Oh, that I would see things from Your perspective. Glory to Your name. Thanks for this prayer, Pastor!!!
