Lifelong Student

SCRIPTURE:  “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.”     Psalms 1:1-2
I am a child of God;
I desire to have a servant’s heart.

There’s no way I can keep His love to myself;
His favor is seen through me for someone else.

So, I serve according to His glory;
I am grateful that He is the Author of my story.

His patience and faithfulness are always found;
Purposeful lessons from trials are always around.

His love reminds me I am His appointed student,
Producing wisdom and discernment from the challenges He’s using.

Whipping and equipping me to be His personal soldier;
As I draw nearer to Him through faith, I become bolder.

So, I pick up my Sword as He slays my assigned enemies,
Putting on the armor that keeps, protects, and defends me.

I’m grateful that the Lord has invited me to the front of His class;
There are so many things I need to learn and understand in order to pass.

Prayer: Teach me, Lord! The moments I think I am knowledgeable, You have a way of unloading more and new teaching lessons. You know what I need to know in order to serve You. Your ways will take a lifetime and more to understand. So, I will align myself to be taught exclusively by You. Thank You for grace and mercy! In the name of Jesus!  Amen!
