The Enduring Word

Weekends in the month of December will be devoted to scripture and prayer! Weekly devotions will resume Mondays through Fridays.  Join us in  Word and Prayer!
Scripture:  Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth [b]through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 24 because “All flesh is as grass, and all [g]the glory of man as the flower of the grass.
The grass withers, and its flower falls away, 25 But the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. 1 Peter 1:22-26
Prayer:  Our Father in Heaven, again we open your Word, believing beyond any doubt that this Word is Your Word to us. That It is infallible, that It is inerrant, that It carries with It all of Your authority. We ask now Father that you would once again bless us through the hearing of the Word as it is proclaimed. That You would move mightily upon the hearts of people, that the Holy Spirit would once again speak in accordance to Your Word so that the people would know in their hearts that they heard the Word of God. So, as we take this moment of reflection-coming to the end of another year. There are things we have carried along all this year. God sees them, God spoke to them. In the quietness of your own heart, get right. God wants you to get right! He hears prayers of repentance; He hears prayers of confession. The Bible Says when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. So where you are, grace is available. You just call on Him, grace is available. We give You praise Lord and give You thanks In Jesus Name, Amen.
