Tears of a Clown
Scripture: Psalm 126:5 Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.
My tears are flowing for many reasons
Although I’m protected, it hasn’t been easy
Yet, I have a Heavenly Father I can lean on
Tears may come, but still, I can move on
Living through circumstances and controversy
My tears are gentle reminders of His daily mercies
Never giving us difficulties we couldn’t bear
When tears flow I’m prepared to cast cares
That’s why He tells me to hide His Word in my heart
My tears reflect His grace for a fresh and renewed start
So, for the troubles yesterday, tomorrow, and today
My tears cultivate a mindset, the Lord will make a way
Knowingly, no weapon formed against me shall prosper
Tears are an extension of what He can spiritually offer
Tears wash away the potential of evil and the enemy
Advocating a fight from victory, rather than for victory
Depending solely on my Lord’s sanctified truth
My tears testify my favor as His documented proof
So, the water on my face is not the tears of a clown
My tears are deep waters where defeat is drowned
Prayer: Lord, You are amazing! The multiple times You have forgiven me. The multiple times You have delivered me. Having an opportunity to cry is a testament to Your mercy and grace. I lift my hands to You! I’m grateful for Your goodness. Bless You, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
