Empowered by Worship

Scripture: Ephesians 2:6-7 (Amplified) And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus, 7 [and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption].
Psalm 29 (New King James) Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
Have you ever had an encounter with the worthiness of our God? Have you ever come to a low point where you realize and recognize just how Big God is? The place of Worship; many of us go there after a Jesus-inspired message or song that provokes us above just a praise. It’s when you are convinced of His deity, priority, and relentless love. It’s when you welcome His embrace; and when you desire Him to smother you with His presence and glory. It’s when you are so aware, He is High and worthy to be Lifted Up. Worship is an inward place where the Lord’s worthiness is profound and unable to be ignored. It's a place that demands attention to His mighty attributes. You know…When you are persuaded and confident in: He is All Powerful; He is Omniscient; He is Immutable; and that He will return and receive us unto Himself; just as He said He would do. Oh, the place of worship. It is more than the outward expressions of excitement for His goodness. This place causes us to bow, to fall down to His glory; to His majesty; To His holiness. We lay before Him overwhelmed so much so that we must confess sins; we must submit to His Word and His Lordship (like Mary who laid at Jesus’ feet – Luke 10:39). Worship is where we can go to be filled and equipped with purpose; rejuvenated in our walk for Him. We gain a greater perspective of His Work of Love on the cross. Oh Lord, we are brought to how to live as unto Him and not to ourselves. That’s big…because this place is where offenses by others and our failures are made minimal; our victory in Him is made Great. Oh, the place of Worship!!
Prayer: Lord, we thank You that even as we are here on earth, we are also seated in the heavenlies. We are able to experience Your glory in Worship. We are able to climb into Your arms; where we can experience Your peace, protection, presence, and clarity of purpose. You are Great, Oh Lord. Thank You for sweet communion beyond the veil where we can honor You face to face…Thank You, Dear Lord…In Jesus’ Name-Amen!!
